Subject: The Fat Fry Sleeper
The first show of what may be SCI's last run at Hornings was the 10th anivesary of my first show at the KPIG Fat Fry (along with many others I have found). I was imediately impressed with Travis's drumming/percussion work. I don't recall having seen a kit drummer also playing congas and other hand drums at the same time.
I found this tid bit from the Metro archives.
"The Fat Fry's sleeper band just might be String Cheese Incident, which festival co-director Karen Watt describes as "very talented musicians who sure can play fast." Fast enough to inspire a mosh pit? "There won't be any mosh pits, but you might find some people dancing with reckless abandon."
